What it does
Pull the tab, start again
Pull the yellow tab down, or swipe up with two fingers, and the ink lifts off the film. Pick Realistic, Wispy, Sparkle or Instant.
Scratchpad for grown-ups
A slate that forgets. Jot a number, sketch a plan, then wipe it. Four inks and undo, and nothing piles up.
Doodle & learn for kids
Chunky lines and five inks for small hands. Save the good ones, then Decorate them with stickers and their name on the frame.
Trace & learn
Shapes, letters A–Z, numbers 0–9, pictures and their own name. Dotted guides show where to start and which way to go, and every trace earns one to three stars.
Slate games for two
Pass-and-play Tic-tac-toe, Build-a-Snowman word guessing (a kinder take on hangman) and Guess My Drawing, with a 60-second timer.
An album that remembers
Saved drawings live in the album. Replay them stroke by stroke, or tap Bring it back after a wipe you didn’t mean.
Save to Photos
Keep a favourite in Photos with a small LiftPad watermark in the corner. Ready to share with grandparents.
Kid lock
Tap the padlock to lock the slate for little hands. To unlock it, a grown-up holds the padlock and answers a quick multiplication question.
Five slate colours

The 7-day trial is a free in-app item. When it ends you’re never charged: Pro features simply lock again until you buy. One purchase covers your iPhone and iPad, and Family Sharing is on. Prices are in US dollars and vary by country; the App Store shows the price in your local currency.
Privacy & Terms
No accounts, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. Drawings, stars and your child’s name stay on your device and in your own private iCloud, which NovakPlay can’t see or access.

01Who we are
LiftPad is made by NovakPlay, an independent developer based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada (the developer named on the App Store listing). This statement explains what the app does with your information.
02What we collect
Nothing. NovakPlay collects no data. LiftPad has no accounts and no servers of ours, and contains no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no third-party SDKs. NovakPlay never receives your drawings, stars, names or anything else you put in the app. The App Store privacy label for LiftPad is “Data Not Collected”.
03Where your data lives
Your drawings, stars, settings and the first name you enter are stored on your device. If iCloud is turned on, they are also kept in your own private iCloud database and in your iCloud Drive, so the album and stars can appear on your other iPhone or iPad and daily backups can be restored. That storage belongs to your Apple account and is covered by Apple’s privacy policy; NovakPlay cannot see or access it.
04Your child’s name
LiftPad can ask for a child’s first name. It is used only to make a “trace your name” sheet and to write their name on a decorated frame. It never leaves your device, except to sync through your own private iCloud if you have iCloud turned on.
05Permissions the app asks for
Photos, add-only: LiftPad asks for this only when you tap Save to Photos, and can only add pictures, never see your library. iCloud, for sync and backups in your own private iCloud. Both are optional, and you can change them at any time in Settings.
06Purchases
LiftPad Pro and the free trial are handled by Apple through your App Store account. NovakPlay receives no payment details, only what Apple tells the app about whether Pro is unlocked.
07Children
LiftPad is made for families, and children use it. Because the app collects no data from anyone, it collects none from children. There are no ads and no accounts. Age rating: 4+. LiftPad is not part of the App Store’s Kids category.
08Your rights
Because your data stays with you, you are in control of it: deleting the app removes it from that device, and you can delete the app’s iCloud data in your iPhone or iPad settings under iCloud storage. 09Changes
If this statement changes we’ll update it here and change the effective date above.
01The agreement
By downloading or using LiftPad, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app. The agreement is between you and NovakPlay, an independent developer based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada (the developer named on the App Store listing).
02Your licence
NovakPlay grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use LiftPad on the Apple devices you own or control, for your own and your family’s use, as permitted by the App Store’s usage rules.
03LiftPad Pro
LiftPad is free to download. LiftPad Pro is an optional one-time, non-consumable purchase. It is not a subscription and never renews. The price is shown in the App Store and in the app before you buy. Pro unlocks permanently, can be restored on your other devices with the same Apple account, and is available to your family through Family Sharing.
04The free trial
You can try every Pro feature free for 7 days. The trial is a free in-app item, not a subscription: when it ends you are never charged, and Pro features simply lock again until you choose to buy LiftPad Pro.
05Refunds
All payments are handled by Apple, so refund requests go through Apple under its policies, at reportaproblem.apple.com.
06Apple’s standard EULA
Your use of LiftPad is also governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms add to it; where the two conflict, Apple’s standard EULA applies.
07Acceptable use
Please don’t reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the app except where the law expressly allows, and don’t use it to break the law or infringe anyone’s rights.
08Kids and grown-ups
LiftPad is rated 4+ and is made to be used by children with a grown-up nearby. Kid lock is a convenience, not a parental control, and it doesn’t replace supervision or Apple’s Screen Time. A parent or guardian accepts these terms on a child’s behalf.
09Your content
What you draw in LiftPad is yours. It is stored on your devices and in your own iCloud, which NovakPlay cannot access, so we can’t recover it for you if it is lost. A slate is meant to forget: Bring it back and daily backups help, but please save anything you want to keep to the album or to Photos.
10The app is provided “as is”
LiftPad is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We work hard to make it reliable, including sync and backups, but we can’t promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit every purpose.
11Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, NovakPlay is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including lost drawings, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.
12Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
